Virtual Shop Floor.

The DPA Virtual Shop Floor provides the production manager with a graphical interface that clearly illustrates the current status of every machine on the shop floor. A quick glance indicates which jobs are being run, by who, which operation and how fast. The DPA system even decides if a job is running inefficiently or not and highlights any inefficient machines in order to alert the manager to the situation.

 With continuous 'live' data from the shop floor the manager is always in touch with production, well informed of potential problems and able to direct corrective action before a potential problem becomes a real one.

Should the manager require detailed information on a particular machine, simply clicking on an icon of the desired machine will provide an up to the second progress report. The DPA system reads direct from a custom computer connected to the machine and shows progress so far in terms of good and waste product and machine operations. The DPA system even estimates the time required to complete the current job based on its current performance. Complete with an additional graphical trace of the machine speed history, this truly is information at the fingertips.
