INES - Improved Dynamic Process
Analysis System
Industrial Embedded Systems (INES) project was a EC funded take-up project with a duration of 24 months
started on 1st January 2002.
The objective of this best practice user project was
to demonstrate the best practice use of an embedded
TCP/IP communication facility and the adoption of an
Open Source Operating System.
The project was completed through the utilisation of
the Linux Operating System, C and Java in the
development of an industrial embedded touch screen
user interface attached to a device monitoring a
production machine.
