Estimating and Quotation.
To serve as a fully integrated front end to the DPA
system, Mytron have developed an estimating and quotation
module, that is a comprehensive software package in
its own right.
The Mytron ADMIN software provides a user friendly
Windows interface for the entry of new job enquiries,
and automates the progressive stages of estimating quoting,
and creation of work orders.
Through a set of user editable tables, job estimates
can be easily tuned to your own requirements and based
upon your own expertise in your field. Once your happy
with the figures, a click of a button produces a fully
customisable printed quotation, that maintains your
corporate style and image.
On receipt of a customer order, the Mytron ADMIN system
makes it a simple task to track down original quotes
and place orders against them, creating printed order
confirmations on the way. Again creating job bags and
work orders become quick and simple.
Additionally, ADMIN reporting facilities, provide a
comprehensive set of reports on sales performance, allowing
you to identify weakness or trends in the market.
Integration with the Mytron DPA system creates additional
features. For every order an electronic job bag is sent
direct to the DPA scheduler where it is scheduled into
production. A remote viewing facility then allows users
of the ADMIN software to view the current work schedule
and job tracking information provided by the DPA system.
The increased awareness of production in other departments
helps to break down the traditional 'departmental walls',
and vastly improves communication and productivity.
With the facility to attach special instructions or
messages to the electronic job bag, and then highlight
that job for others attention, costly errors and rework
are avoided.
In addition, sales staff will have the ability to track
down a particular job and respond to customer queries
on outstanding work in seconds.
